Auditing Courses

Students may register for general education classes that will not apply to their BSN degree on a credit or audit basis. Students auditing a course must officially register for the class and pay any applicable fees. Upon completion, the course is entered on the permanent university transcript as taken for no credit (NC). Required general education courses taken for NC will not apply toward completion of nursing degree requirements.

Students should check with an academic advisor as to procedures and fees for auditing classes. Students may not audit nursing practicum courses. Permission to audit a didactic nursing course depends on availability of space, faculty consent, and demonstration of adequate program progression on the part of the student.
